The New Copper Thoughts
I've broken some of the web.
Let me apologize now: I'm sorry. Now let me explain.
The original Copper Thoughts was a way of staking out a claim on the Internet. I wanted a place to publish stuff, so I threw up a Wordpress installation and let it go at that, telling myself that one day I would take the time to create a "proper" custom blogging engine. A couple months ago, I finally did. It was in Clojure, and it was a neat idea, but it wasn't perfect, so I scrapped it and continued to use Wordpress. A couple weeks ago, I switched over the post structure of the blog to something more intelligible, but broke links in the process. It wasn't a big deal, as most of those posts got little to no traffic, so it didn't matter much. The links will be safe from this point on, but I've only keep the past couple posts around. The rest have been lain to rest.
For now, until I've created the perfect baked blogging engine, I will be posting raw HTML of each post when I'm ready to publish them, and will update the archive and index pages by hand. This should at least provide some measure of impetus for me to quickly complete Clogs (the baked blogging engine).
But know this, Gentle Reader: I won't break any more of the web.
